CME Requirements North Carolina Physician Licensure requires CME reporting. As a physician you need to obtain and document for your files the required practice-relevant CME. A three-year CME cycle shall start on your birthday. You will be asked to report your total hours of applicable relevant CME each year on your annual license registration form, but you will have three (3) years to meet the requirements that each physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina shall complete:
