Cultural Competency Educational Training Programs
www.thinkculturalhealth.org  The US Department of Health and Human Services has developed National Standards on Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS). With the increasing diversity of the United States' population, physicians are more likely to encounter situations that require the delivery of culturally competent care and access to a vast array of language services. This site will provide more information on how physicians and healthcare professionals can receive information about CLAS standards and register to earn up to 9 free CME credits (Physicians and Physician Assistants), 9 contact hours (Nurse Practitioners), or 9 contact hours (0.9 CEUs) (Pharmacists) while exploring engaging cases and learning about cultural competency in health care..
